In fact, I can hardly wait now. One Question Though:

Will I be able to pilot my ship and these 'drones' using my JOYSTICK ?????

That is all I need to know. I want to be able to use my joystick. I am ready to pre-order right now.

I think I remember an interview I've seen with Bernd in it where he says that XR will definitely have joystick-compatibility

I don't think I ever questioned if I would get this game. The X series has been a lot of fun for me. They would have to take a major tumble to turn out a game that isn't worth what adds up to a trivial amount of money for the time I spend playing it.

I will buy this jewel without any doubt, possibly will be the best space game ever developed for PC.
