Removing a station in Free-Play

I am in OL in Radiant Haven. I accepted the mission to build a Refuelling Station but never realised at the time that I had to use a specific construction vessel for this system.
Now I have the right ship, is there any way to get rid of the unwanted station.

As far as I'm aware, it's impossible in a vanilla game. Some mods allow you to do this (check the modding forum), and it is possible to edit your save file, although I don't know much about that second method.

Why'd you want that? Any station once completed is the only source of automatic income in this game. Keep it, make profitsss.
PS: You want to get the CV back? No chance. OTOH it's the cheapest ship in the game, so why bother?
