CE Bonus Soundtrack and Artwork etc

How do you get the soundtrack vol. 2 recognized in the game from CD?
Whenever I open the CD, it's just files of 1 KB.

Hi,

When you're in the main menu under "Bonus Content" you can select to install. Which will start download when closing the game.

At least it did so for me

Hey, thanks for the answer, but it just says "View in store". Did you buy the boxed version as well?

If you have the *boxed* collector's edition, like I do, unfortunately the included key does not correspond to a *digital* collector's edition; your bonus content was already delivered to you in physical form. This info directly from Egosoft.

I spent the extra money for the digital collector's edition upgrade on Steam as well, and this activated all the bonus content in the game menu.

I upgraded to the CE for the music and the video but steam won't download the video and I don't see any way to force it. Am I missing something?

Try just exiting the Steam client and restarting it. That usually kick-starts any new downloads.

Some times when I have changed or upgraded the game, is steam shows it (X Rebirth CE) then verifying the file cache also kicks it into gear. But you mileage may vary.

It downloaded all the other DLC (music/encyclopedia/art) just fine on purchase though. Will give that a shot though.

I finally figured it out, you have to trigger the movie download via the bonus content menu ingame.
