Savegame won't load beyond ~80% [Q&A SLC-1]

Same thing just happened to me. Stuck at 80%.. any ideas on a fix?

I have just ordered a Taranis to jump somewhere (not the plot one) and I saved it before I docked. I had to reload because.. well, the taranis wont shoot anything and gets mullered. Talk about a waste of money!

Its many of us. I found loots of peoples on steam forum as well. There is no way how to fix that yet. Best solution is pray for new update. I realy hope it will be today. If I have to start the game again is better to uninstall ..for me. Spend more like 60h and after that again from begining is realy frustrating. Actualy more like 60h because you have to fly between bugs. Saving and loading .... saving loading , saving loading hehe

well stuck at 76-78 % restarting just hanged the % it gets stuck at.. well going to go afk and hope for it to load

and like a genius i didnt keep my recent saves

11h is too much to replay right now..

I get tired of manual saving so I just spam F5 every so often. I mean I didn't think the save file would just kill itself.

well i can say that it got stuck permanently i just gave it 10 minutes of time, still stuck at 76%

oh well waiting for the next patch

oh btw: only NEW save files dont load , the old ones do
the game save from yesterday did load flawlessly but the 2 from today just dont

[Using latest version thru Steam]

I can't load any of my most recent games - I saved to different slots relatively regularly because the game sometimes crashes when saving (corrupting the save), or just plain crashes. This is fairly rare but still very irritating if you don't save regularly!

After leaving the game earlier I can't load any of the recent ones. I've just completed the mission to build the URV forge. Now, if I want to play I've lost a fair bit of game time as a result...

so.. bump - hope for a patch to resolve this asap.... not posting dxdiag since so many people have the issue I guess its game related not machine.

[+ please fix player ships not engaging the enemy!!]

I just encountered this issue as well. Just loaded the first save of 1.15 (think their may have been the hotfix this morning). After that patch/hotfix cannot load my save gets stuck at 81%.

Will post DxDiag and save file shortly, (just noticed how old my sound drivers were...)

Edit : Adding Info's, I have 2 saves 001 does not load, 007 is the save right before the other which does load.

Same problem occured since 1.15 to me. Savegame is stuck at 86%

Update: Prior 1.15 loading was no problem. Since then it always get stuck on specific savegames. I'm using 5 savegames in changing order to save my current progress. Attached savegame was the last one I did. At least I can load the savegame twice before that... -2hours gameplay.

Update2: 1.16 got me now to 91%... stuck.

I did not have problems loading my save games in 1.14. Since 1.15, whenever i save in the same zone as my first station and where my "slave" construction vessel is, the game doesnt load anymore. Stuck at 84%. Saving anywhere other than the zone in which my station is, doesnt cause me any problems. The zone is Darned Hot Air.

Differencies is only few sec. 1 is working and the 2 is not. Just changed location to Shady Vault. No commands between nothing.
