Hi Guy's !!! i have a new TV 4 K 65 inch thomson on my computer and i want continue to play at X Rebirth VR but when i want lunch the game i have an new update of Steam vr and now my game start only the TV and not on the vive headset but my others games work very well !!! do you know what is this problem please ?
I have to try evry resolution on window and in the game 1080p, 4k, and other....and don't work

Your problem is a common problem for all the users that use SteamVR Beta.
After the last to patches in steamVr, the game does not start anymore in the headset but only on desktop.
I contacted the SteamVR support, they tried some solutions and in the end they suggested to contact Egosoft.
The problem is only an Egosoft one, they must patch the game to solve the issues. Going back from SteamVR beta solves the problem but you lose the last updates of SteamVR and anyway when the Beta will become official, none will be able to play the game anymore.

The game recognise the controllers, and turn the visual (shown like SBS only on desktop) when you turn the headset (vive), but in the headset is shown only the starting image of the game. Please help.

I've merged two similar threads and I will try to get dev advice, but that may be difficult or delayed given the all-out work on X4 release.

Thanks for your support. I played the game for no more than 40 minutes and found it a valid alternative to E:D. Would like to continue playing.

Latest SteamVR update:

Fixed issue with Windows applications that use Vulkan not showing up on the headset.
