I dont know but I think it does not matter, civ ships still spawn in the same numbers, you have to mod them out
Was just curious if it changed the ebb and flow of things and thought that maybe it only renders all that stuff while you look at it.
Plus a lot of people are complaining about it to boot.

Backed up the save file - coz you never know!
Loaded the game, built a new construction site, went to load factory and everything is greyed out. Of course, I don't own any of the blueprints!
Spent the last 3 hours saving up and buying the blueprints. Just the Paranid L Biome to go (24.7m) and then I can get building.
Something tells me this could take a while...
OH MY GOD, he's found a solution to the economic woes of the universe, well for this month.

Eager to try all this once 2.0 becomes final.

It will take several game days to finish the build, so you have time to get the cash for the needed resources. The amount you see on the screenshot was more then enough in the end - for me some 40+m remained in the budget afterwards.

A zeus sentinel would be about 1.5 hours, an ody about half an hour - with highest loadout preset. Vanguards cost less hull parts so that would go quicker.

That is some amazing work! All I ever managed was a borg cube for my everything ship factory I was building in anticipation of 2.0.
Cant wait to fire up your build in my game and test it out for myself.

I'm followng a LOTR naming scheme for my playthrough, so in consideration of your godlike construction powers, I'm going to dub this masterpiece, "Illuvitar's Song" or "The Flame Imperishable"... or something like that.

Great stuff!

Wonderful work. However, I see it produces everything except Nividiium plates. I got the build going and checked the logical view and looks like they need to be bought in.

Who pays 100% of asking price for raw materials when building????

edit/add: Also, wow.... it's going to take a LONG time to get the workers needed to operate that place at capacity. I've got a 400hr save, and one of my first factories that needed 14k workers still is not operating at peak.

Theres a mod for nividium plates. It makes the nividium useful so that you can keep mining it to have a purpose. I'm running 1.6

There are no nvidium plates in vanilla.

In the end i paid about 150% just to get the build-SETA time done asap.. :)

Workers come pretty quick, i already have 6k and couldn't play the game since build finished for more then a couple hours unfortunately.

Just to have more types of stations. Also more products to sell. And more types of NPCs on the station. Have a complex with teladi habitats only and i only have lizards on it.

Guess you're better with names then i am.. lucky my dogs don't understand the stupid names i figured for them :D

Actually i figured i messed up something, the solar panels cut into the habitats - there should be a little more distance between them. It probably would look better with an additional connector between each.

Wow! Looks amazing. Looks like a space casino! Would be great to have a casino module that our citizens can blow their hard earned cash on. Does having more shipyards and warfs add to the number of ships that can be built at once? And do they need to be connected to work?

I'm planning a much smaller (and messy, off course) 4500 population version of this, starting with one for each production facility to support future ship building modules (perhaps in another station).
I still miss some blueprints (antimatter converter factory for example), so I have a long way to go to try to mimic the functionality of your impressive city.
