Sometimes there are weird small transactions that i see on the bottom left side of my screen (200 credits or 1000 credits, just tiny sums)
and i have no idea what is this money or why do i get it as there is no info about it
and also i cant see it in my log
can someone tell me what it is and why cant i see it?

like how do i know that they are selling with profits or loses?

I wonder if it is the amount of trade discount when you scan a station and then one of your trader come buy something from it. My guess is your trader pays the normal price to buy things and then the station reimburse the amount of the discount?

Hello All,
I have some questions:
1. I can either use mods OR I can do ventures, did I get that right? Please confirm that if I use mods I am out of ventures. And then I am really wondering how Egosoft can implement such sh.t while depending on mods to make their games really playable.
2. Is there a way to rename my wings? I’d like to name them like PAT-1 (for Patrol) or ESC-1 (for escorts) and so on.
3. Is there a way to enter all Wares if I assign a trader to autotrade?

[Feature Request- Count Orders in overview]
In the overview window for ships I’d like to the count of “orders” open for a ship. For example when I am trading manually I want to assign the next trade to a ship with less orders queued. So we could keep Traders going and always make sure they all some trades in queue.

[Feature Request- Edit Ship Names]
Let us Edit the Ship-Names instead of deleting the string by clcking in the shipname Field

Any way to pick up the main mission if you lost it?

I picked up the device I had to go to the station for and then figured I could do the rest on my own time.

Now all the missions are gone from my log - so I guess not.

ok, im now...90 hours into the game
build me 3 stations
modded it to have even a shipyard
have atleast 200 ships



how in GODS NAME do i get drones into stations.... i check "refill blahblah" but then it gets like...30-40 drones, and then it stops
ive read that i need to give the station droneparts and smart chips, well did that, into the normals torage and build storage, and i even have a station making those 2 components, and its not making drones!

so what am i missing? is there a 3rd thing i need to supply? (dont say hull parts, those i am making at every station)

I used to list PC parts here, but "the best" will suffice!

something I found to be interesting for training

I obviously cant verify if this is intended or happenstance, but in reading through this post alot of questions about finding managers and training skills of crewman, I decided to look through my pilots today and low and behold, the pilot running the second ship I bought had 3 stars of management skill. Which I immediately moved him to manage my station since I was still working on the quest to get a manager for it.

Now I was not positive but im pretty sure he did not have this when I hired him with the ship, cause he also has 4 stars of piloting and 2 stars of morale. So I bought a new trader ship tonight and checked the pilot I purchased with the ship. He had 3 stars of pilot and one morale. I sent the ship to my station and went on playing. I also checked my two miner ships and one pilot had 2 stars of management and the other had one, again I dont remember them having that when i first hired them.

After I noticed my new trader ship reached my station (half hour or so of real time) I checked the pilot and poof he had 4 stars of pilot, 1 morale and 1 management.

One thing I do that may affect this (only guessing) is with every ship I hire a full crew, whether its all crewman or marines or a mix I just make sure its a full crew. I dont know of any benefit to doing this but possibly helps to add management stars to the pilot.

Maybe someone else could try this and verify. I know for now on I will be moving pilots around and using my trading ships and miners to level up the skills.

Note: I have 58 hours of play time in the game. So im guessing the pilot with 3 stars of management is probably around 30 to 35 hours old.

S Ship found w/o Pilot and without Claim popup

I found a PAR Theseus Vanguard not moving. Comms was greyed with a popup, no pilot. I scanned it and confirmed there is no pilot and there are 2 crew members. The hatch is open and the ship had hull damage. I repaired the damage but there is no sparkler on the ship, there is no claim popup in the right-mouse menu (I have 2 marines).

Do I need to hack it or use EMP bomb... how can I claim this ship?

U can use the missiles using secondary weapons.
also if they aren't loaded into the missile launcher press enter and look at weapons and you have a small roll curtain to load missiles.

you might not have enogh cargo space on the station. :)

press shift-2 and try again :) it might help.

Any npc you have that have "command" over any other npc crew will build manager stars. if it is ship or a station.
