Jerky non smooth movements on joystick.

Post by carbunkle » Sat, 1. Dec 18, 05:22

I have a deadzone set at 4% but when it does move it's drastic and jerky, does the game simply not know how little im moving my joystick? or is there a joystick sensitivity setting im missing?

thats odd im not really having that problem. what joy stick are you using?

the only problem i had was after coming out of menus my ship would start drifting and not taking my joystick commands until all the sudden the joystick was back and it would jerk. but i found some option with gamepads that i set to no in the controls menu and it fixed that one right up

Might be the same problem I had initially. I bound the roll and rudder/steering under the "button"/digital assignments instead of the axis/analog assignments.

Axis assignments are the top:
Primary Steering Axis = Rudder/Steering Axis
Secondary Steering Axis = Roll Axis
Steer up-down = Pitch Axis

That solved it, TYVM!

Thanks for this info much appreciated. I was getting frustrated with control on Logitech X56 with same symptoms, now sorted. :)
