How to remove or fire crew members?
For the life of me I can't figure out how to give somebody the boot... Please help.

Select them in the menu list crew and select comms; they should show up and select they`re `fired` in comms. If you can actually see them (as crew on ship) you can talk to them and one of the options is to fire them.

Or you go to "upgrade ship" in a wharf, shipyard or similar.
Go to crew and unassign those you want.
Just above where you just adjusted the crew, there would be a small trashbin, klicking on that one will fire them, AFTER you added the shopping cart and accepted.
