No full throttle button?

Post by mr.WHO » Mon, 15. Apr 19, 20:06

Is there a full throttle button?

I see there is full forward and full backward, but those are continous buttons (you have to hold them to be active)
There is stop engine button that you can activate with one key tap.

Yet I can't find full throttle which could be activated with one key tap (I need to scroll with mouse wheel).

It's the boost button, at least on gamepad mode, it locks the speed to max
Fixed ships getting spawned away from ship configuration menu at resupply ships from automatically getting deployables.

But boost will drain shield, even if it's just a little bit.

you sure are picky, the drain is negligible, just hit it dont press it :P

turn the travel drive on/off ..admitidly its 2 key presses with 2 fingers..but its an alternative to the miniscule shield drain you dont want to experiance......

Or just bind a button to Full Throttle in Settings.

I'd if there would be a full throttle option in the first place.

Isn't it 'full forward'?

That is a dead man button. The ship goes full throttle but goes back once you release it.

Like SPiDER said, I just quickly tap boost, at most 1% of the shield drains if that.

Ah okay, I never used that tbh, I belong to the "short Boost" group :)

I use both. The boost is good but when flying around stations 'Full forward' is quite handy
