When you get to build it, it enables basically a fast forward time button up to a factor of 10. So speeds everything up.

Singularity Engine Time Accelerator. It's what you wish you had for the dull parts of life that you want to just skip through.

Then when you turn it off and find out you're over 80 years old and have not experienced a single thing in life you hate yourself for using it :D

No, everybody else has aged to 80. You would be about the same age as when you turned it on. So if you turned it on when 30, 50 years could pass but to you, maybe only 6 months would have passed. You are still youthful, just 80 years into the future.

OP, just be sure to watch your computer. SETA makes the game do all the normal calculations at 10x the speed it normally would. So if you're late game, you could burn out your CPU if it's not enough to handle it.

Did you know you can use SETA whilst on a dock!
This way you can speed up a station build and be safe from attack!
Set down on a Dock, press M to open the map. Now press Shift 4. SETA is now running Ha ha.

This is a bug worthy of keeping!!
Set your Pegasus, down on one of your flat docks. ( your station ) Go to plan build. Now pick the dock and move it to a new part of the station.
Close the map, note: your ship is now beginning to get dismantled along with the dock.
You have to now act quickly, Don’t wait. If you do the game will shut down !
Take off in your ship and land it on another station dock. Hop out of your ship and watch it slowly vanish. Then it snaps back into being !! Cool A.
You now have no ladder, yet you can still get up inside. The useless dash images have also gone. And whats better, when SETA is activated that bright white boarder is also missing. Yah!
After shutting the game down, and restating later on, the bug is still there, no white boarder. Yahoo.
Not sure this works with other ships, but it works with a Pegasus.
