NPC Ships have vanished from mymap

this happend yesterday and I restarted the game and it was ok.

Its just happened again and I cant get the NPC ships back onto my map. unbelievable it shows all my ships and all Abandoned ships.
can anyone let me know how to restore map view,

Taking a wild guess, you have probably set a filter on your map, but without more information and maybe a screenshot or two, it's going to be hard for anyone to do more than guess.

I have not set any filters. Well not since day one.
I’m playing vanilla 2.21
This has happened 2 days on the trott. This time required 2 reboots.

My system is Rick solid. New build just for this game. Os on one ssd and x4 on another ssd. 16gig memory. Gt1060.intel i7

As far as I’m aware nothing has changed no new drivers etc.

Yesterday 1 reboot fixed it and today 2.

I’ve run chkdsk and defrag

If from Steam, have you verified the X4 gamefiles cache recently?

I have only done that once before.

I will do it again and see if that solves it.

I verified the game files but it happend again. this time just escaping out of map and back into map a few times worked,

ive also noticed that when this happens I loose the shipyards in Holy Vision and Antigone memorial
