Mission to build factory & location

Got an mission to build a micro chip factory in Eighteen Billion system.
The location market is off the map, to the edge. Do I have to build the station on the designated area, or I can build it closer to the gates and the protection of the Ministry of Finance fleet?

Put the plot in the designated area, or you won't get credit for the mission.

Build it where they tell you. If they ask for a station in the middle of a sun or blackhole where it will burn up the instant you approach it or where Xenon from throughout the universe will come to have huge raves, that is not your problem.
