Yeah, IIRC it did so once I started adding sell offers. It's an old save though, I haven't been playing it for months. Might be misremembering.

One thing I still miss is summarized "consumption rate" for each iteam - like now we have for example 10'000 k / h EC production, but then I have to manually go to each item that consume EC and sum their consumption rates.

It would be great to have next to estimated production rate, also estimated consumption rate e.g.:

Energy cell:
Production 10'000k /h
Consumption 8'000k /h

The new toys for the logical overview are amazing, amazing work! The colapsable option is a must I think, so you can maximize the node view or the graph whenever you want, but yes I think they should be on the same screen for simplicity. Also, its possible to control the number of datasets for the graph? Right now the limit is just 4. I think this is very important, 4 is not enough sometimes when you want to compare rates of many products or resurses deppletion.

Came to say that this beta patch is very well done! Congrats, a large step in the right direction!
Mostly the logistical Overview improvements, autopilot pathing, formations and even the economy. Not to mention the miners buff.

Though if possible (and if it aligns with the framework for next patches), fleet and wing management need a few improvements (hotkeys mostly).
Nevertheless credit where credit is due, the beta for 2.60 so far looks and feels amazing.

The current changes with 2.6 are great! But it still could be improved. I would like to see, on a per station (not module) level, what the overall production rate and consumption rate of each ware is.

Would it be possible to add info in the storage line for each item, what the +/- rate of product per hour is, based on current production and consumption rates? That would let me know at a glance how many of each module I should add in order to get balanced production rates. Technically it is possible to do this in the logical overview, but it is a tedious process looking at each module type, writing down what it uses, doing maths, etc.

So basically, just right click on your station, select information, open the storage tab, and to the left of the storage amount in parentheses, is the production or consumption rate per hour. There is plenty of space for this info, and it would make planning stations much easier.

Just want to throw in this curved ball !

I build my stations to look pretty, don't care too much about production rate any more ! As my stations pump out tons of loot regardless. I used to study the production rate, and developed my own hand written sheets for station efficiency. But soon learnt I was waisting my time.

Now I design the station to be interesting to look at, rather than be efficient. Far more fun, and less bother.

Even with Production modules that do nothing, just to enhance the look of the station.

I have spent days building space station sculptures, they do absolutely nothing. One has nothing but Habitation modules. Looks so cool…

( Gosh ! I have to spend my Billions on something ! )
