Will the existing ships get an overhaul?

I'd also add that every ship is able to use the same kind of weapons,I.e. all weapons (missiles/turrets/weapons) for their size.

I dont like that idea at all, would be much better imo if racial differences were increased in this regard not eliminated.

Like having a lower tier of universal weaponry, and the best weapons would be race specific - impossible to mount on other races' ships, and would have a higher rep requirement.

This way the differences not just in look but in combat behaviour would increase and each race would have more of a "character".

I also do want more differences between races. I stated how it is today and I am also not a fan of being able to use every weapon on every ship.
