SaveGame mechanic overhaul
Hello,
i have a question so its possible to overhaul the savegamelogic?
Look, the savefile is an packed xml file with round 50MB and have over 8 mio rows.
You can make a folder with more xml files and then you can zip the folder. Its better to check and analyze the savegame and better for the loadtime in the editors.

We have no plans to change the savegame format.

Is there a checksum or hash to protect against file corruption?We have no plans to change the savegame format.
You are very lucky, my savegame is about 300MB unpacked.with round 50MB

8 million rows seem too low.

But these are xml format so it can be splitting in more files that you can easier load the files in editors withouth long loadtimes.

Out of interest, which editor are you opening savegames in at the moment? I had much better performance with VSCode than Notepad++, although I've heard you can turn off the syntax highlighting on the latter to make it faster.
