Beta 5! And here I was hoping to finish my X-Universe-Races-In-Stellaris game before the new beta came out. Oh well, something's gotta give.

Aparently the range on flak cannons range has been incresed from 2 to 3 km.
I'm still waiting for new sectors (non-DLC ones) and ability to relocate HQ :/
Ah and new Paranid Fighter.

Definitely looking forward to the new sectors, but at least work was done on the UI scaling for wide displays! I use triple-screen and have definitely had issues this whole time. I wonder if they added to head-tracking for non-Tobii devices (I use edTracker--awesome with triple screen).

According to the beta 5 patchlog you can see a list with discounts.
Where do I find that list ?

I believe what your are asking about will show up when you click on station and pick trade with. When that info shows up it shows discounts. I saw a vid on youtube of guy going over changes (Werit gaming is the guy)

Fixed ships getting spawned away from ship configuration menu at resupply ships from automatically getting deployables.

There's new sectors in the patch.
Auto pilot stop/start thing seems better/fixed.
When you get booted out of sector it seems to put you in the grey area instead of deep space (minutes instead of hours)?

I have only found the tu......... 9+10 sectors so far.

Jumped into the 3.0 beta for the first time now that beta 5 is out and I have to say, I'm really impressed with the graphical improvements! I hadn't anticipated there being quite such a difference from 2.6 to 3.0, but immediately upon loading my usual save game in the 3.0 beta everything looked much sharper, the lighting effects (such as pulsing red lights on defence platforms) really stand out now and the new weapon effects look really nice.
I was also really impressed with the improvements to the layout of the menus and the general UI responsiveness in the map screen - it's really polished off what was already a good game experience and made it much easier to see exactly what's going on with all my assets.
So, I'd like to say well done to the Egosoft team for how well 3.0 is shaping up, I'm really looking forward to the first expansion to add the new content on top of the engine improvements.
(PS: A 'small' feature request if I may for beyond 3.0 - would it be possible to have a way to view / modify station 'plans' without actually assigning them to a plot? Sometimes I want to take a chunk of a station I've already built as a template for future stations I'm not building immediately, so if I could save the plan, then remove extra bits I don't want in a standalone 'plan editor' and re-save it, that would be really handy. Would also help me see what my various blueprints look like / contain without dumping them into a plot. Doesn't add anything you can't already do in a roundabout way, but given that the editor UI is there, I hope it would be possible to reuse it in this way.)

I would have to agree with this 100% … I started a new 3.0b5 game and my FPS jumped from the low 50's to the low 60's & I run the game at full 4k (3840x2160). It never made it to 60fps on any of my other starts including the 3.0b4 from just a couple of months ago.Jumped into the 3.0 beta for the first time now that beta 5 is out and I have to say, I'm really impressed with the graphical improvements!

I built it for the most power with the least consumption of it … 65w Processor & 185w GPU on a 650w power supply.

Localization string "Progress" for Mission: "Eye For An Eye" doesn't apply correctly in ship HUD (bottom left MESSAGES menu).

Looking at video footage from latest beta I notice some new things for Large turrets:
Argon large plasma is blue like Argon destroyer weapon:

Will we have racial FX color down to M-turrets?
I see that in latest 3.0 beta most of the turrets already have racial stats.
