No there is a terran bridge with 3 npcs and there is also the footage in the new gamestarts.
That bridge has Split NPCS... checked it... as for the gamestarts... they can even have a real, living cast for their mini trailer... the truth is under the hood (as always)...
Heys, I'm the creator of the trailer. To clear up confusion, the Terran ship's bridge only showed the new Terran NPC models. As a matter of fact, there wasn't a single Split NPC recorded in this trailer.

Ooo Ooo then can you tell us what that ship with the sail is if it's not a secret?

loved the trailer, btw. it was very well cut together!

It is such a secret that I'm legally bound not to tell anything about it until the DLC is released ;)

However, I can hint at multiple logical strings. It has lots of docks, it somewhat resembles another ship, and it has a singe giant engine to propel it. I wonder what this means, Mason!

I'm with ya, and I'm heavily leaning that way myself. The ONLY thing that's making me question that is the other aux ships have 2 or more XL engines. So I'll hedge and say its likely this but could be space pirates.

One thing I don't like is that Terran destroyer weapon bullets spin irrationaly (2:21) just like Argon flak bullets.
That has been fixed in the latest builds, also for the base game bullets (if not, poke me again).
How would we reenable that, because that honestly looks kinda sick

I forgot to say, the stations look REALLY good. That train going around with the lights, looks so nice.
And some of the shots are marvelous, especially the one with the condor and the one with the yaki/xenon one at the end. Oh and the one of the I in the fog...
Kukri and Katana (strangely, as I didnt like the katana teaser shot a while back) are probably gonna be my fave terran ships.

The gate right at the start of the video, from the backdrop it looks like thats the inactive gate in argon prime... thats gonna be fun :)
Most fun is going to be team soccer (so that the USians will not think otherwise), maybe Champion's League? That would be a sight for sore eyes... maybe it's a feature for the "multiplayer" Ventures? (Spotted 3 soccer fields in one of the stations)...
One really has to love the details... now... if they were transferred, just a tiny bit, to character design it would be devine (just for the rhyme)...

it’s true that NPC Split is not a success, they are awful and the artist could have done better!

"May 20 2015 from Cape Canaveral aboard a Atlas V rocket, rely on the small but continuous pressure from sunlight itself for thrust. LightSail A accomplished a challenging test mission, unfurling its 32 square meter mylar solar sail on June 7. It was visible to Earthbound observers before its final orbit."

Aka in 2015 NASA has already performed tests in space with solar sails as a means for propulsion. The speeds that can be accuired for long range travel is mind blowing, tbh. I suggest you read up on stuff you clearly don't know about. At the moment? Pretty much all current (VIABLE) plans for long range space travel? They have huge solar sails as a primary or secundary source for propulsion and energy. ;)

One thing I noticed, that if Borons will not be DLC3, then the only remaining factions that qualify for DLC are Aldrin and Goners.

In the Captain Collins interview, when Bernd was talking about the Terran game starts, he sounded to me like he was suggesting the Aldrin colony was in CoH, although I may have misinterpreted his crypticism.

The “baddies” I definitely think could qualify for a decent DLC. There is scope for Xenon or good Terraformer expansion with CPU ships, and the Xenon Hub. The Khaak in X3 had M6 ships, as well as some M2 capitals for missions. Could be great to revisit some of them as well.

Or, what about the corporations in X3 (AP? Or was it TC?) Definitely scope for DLC sized content there.

There were some in X3, and also in X:R.... i liked the corporations, it's a cool plot device that could definitely be brought back. I'm not sure how you'd fit em all in, or where you would fit them in, in between Argon, Antigone, and Terrans.

I was looking at the trailer for CoH. Now you mention the Xenon Hub and the Khaak? What is the seemingly not totally destroyed (dormand but still active(-ish)) structure at 0:40 sec into the trailer?

Wonderful trailer, congrats to the creator for doing a very, very good job.

I've just pre-ordered COH on GOG, so woot!

And I love the ship with a sail. It may stay.

I have spoken. :P
“Man, my poor head is battered,” Ed said.

“That explains its unusual shape,” Styanar said, grinning openly now. “Although it does little to illuminate just why your jowls are so flaccid or why you have quite so many chins.”

“I…” Had she just called him fat? “I am just a different species, that’s all.”

“Well nature sure does have a sense of humour then,” Styanar said. “Shall we go inside? It’d not be a good idea for me to be spotted by others.”

Both TC and AP had corporations. They had ship models and unique HQ station.
In TC each corporation had distinct player reputation and mission chain with special rewards.
In AP some corps were characters in some of the "plots".

The X4 War and Guild missions serve similar function to X3TC corp missions.

Alliance of Word is quite similar to X3AP corporation. Yes, that ain't Earth-shattering.

"Similar" is the key word here... What I think more people want are more plots cause they are the ones that keep interest going in the long run. One can do only so much with missions and self determined goals
