Any vanilla games notice a lot of stations in Silent Witness XII?

So I'm playing a modded game and one of the mods reduces station build time to 33% of normal time. This also effects NPCs as well. This game is 18 days old ..... I tend to take a lot of time doing stuff :D Anyway, looking at Silent Witness II there are 185 SCA stations. It could very well be the mod I'm running, but I have noticed no other faction has anywhere near that amount in any one sector. Even the sectors with an extreme amount of traffic are lucky to have 30 stations and Silent Witness XII has almost no traffic.

Again, I'm perfectly happy to blame the mod. Just wondering if anyone playing a vanilla game has noticed a lot of stations in that one sector. Along with wondering if it's the mod, I'm also wondering if it's just an SCA thing. They have no shipyards so maybe they spend resources on stations instead? But they also have destroyers, so not sure how their economy works. I'm just guessing their destroyers are spawned in.

A lot yes. I've noticed clusters of dozens of SCA stations.
185 otoh, no. Probably a bug.

Ive had SCA get station happy, but for my current game it was probably 25 or so statiobs in heretics end. I have another game where they have about 20 in Nops fortune.

Vanilla saves.

It seems to start off modestly with just one or two SCA stations hidden away in a sector edge, or maybe a Pirate Base from SCA/HAT, and then the TEL Builder Ships move in and build like fury cramming lots of new SCA stations close together. I guess it's just that TEL drive to make a profit whenever and wherever and not really caring where it comes from or how it was afforded. :D

I have to say that I noticed my PHQ Manager seemed quite happy to trade stuff with them too. (Nonchalantly walks off whistling cheerfully.)

Yes they also build a lot on Heretics End. They have about 100 stations in Silent Witness sectors in my game, 18 being nostrop and 25 medical supplies.

Alright, I'm sure the mod probably makes the problem worse. But I'm just going to go with "it's a combination of the mod and SCA behavior" and ignore it, unless I see other factions and sectors start to exhibit the same behavior.

in my game the had 20-30 after like 150 hours. unfortunately the twats destroyed one of my couriers so i send them an Asgard current station count 0.

I only use VRO and better kill credit mods so I dont think they are causing station spam but I have also noticed loads of SCA station built in nopileos and silent witness. This was a problem in beta but they were all unfinished build plots, atleast they finish them now I guess.

Someone did mention some mythical SCA wharf so I suppose they might be feeding that.

I dealt with those by taking control of the sector.
Now I have PAR Oddys clearing out the tumor for me.
