Traders wont sell goods, station behavior tab greyed out.

Ive been trying to get my traders to sell all these wares, but instead he just wants to sell advanced electronics, and sits there with "trade failed" 1 star pilot btw, also tried this with 3 star pilot and same issue.... is there no way to manually change station behavior or the traders ware list?
Station manager is 3 star. station has 7 available wares to sell, i checked and multiple stations are buying within 3 jumps.
i have to google something about every 15 mins in this game, even had to google how to post an image on this forum lol.. unfortunately i couldnt figure it out, would love to chat about the game on discord tho. @vohme
any help would be greatly appreciated.
