Game is Vanilla but marked modified

Post by ash1213_ » Tue, 22. Sep 20, 18:39

My save game is marked modified.
But I am not using mods or changes.
The bug is destroy my precious time.
Because I can not get rare modifications parts.
Since I can not sent my ship to the venture.
Eternally!

If your game has become modified then either you installed a third party script or mod (subsequently removing it doesn't make existing modified savegames unmodified again, because mods can have lasting effects), or your installation has become corrupted, or there has been interference by other software. The main menu shows when your game is modified, so that you can take action before creating or overwriting savegames. Once the savegame is modified, however, there's not a lot we can do about it.

Saves can also become modified if the save file failed to be written completely. Usually signs of this happening are large parts of the universe that are meant to be populated being empty as that was the progress made when saving was interrupted, but depending when it happens it might not be too visible and easily go unnoticed. Common causes for this are if the save file is manipulated by background process, e.g. anti-virus or cloud sync, while being written or if X4 or the system crashes/loses power while saving.

I think there is some protection for this, but I would not trust it to be fool-proof in every situation.
