Comodo Antivirus false positive? - If an official game dat file then yes.

Going through my regular maintenance this morning my antivirus caught this:

The game was downloaded through steam on launch and has auto update enabled.
I have never before caught any virus or malware on my pc as i use it only for work and a couple of games and i am very careful.
Is this some false positive?

It is most likely a false positive. you could verify the game files through steam and then upload the file to dropbox or similar and check it with virustotal.

Edit: Just saw you won't need to upload it first.

This Comodo report has been posted once or twice before. Rest assured that it is indeed a false positive and can safely be ignored or excluded. (As long as your gamefiles are coming from official sources - if not then suffer the consequences! <just kidding>)
