[2.20] Resource zone is square
Resource zone in SIlent Witness I and Path to Profit are perfect squares:

While perfect circle/sphere is something that can occur in Space, I think there is no natural perfect square
This looks like some kind of overlook in sector design.

Can confirm this is still the case in 2.50 B2.
The fields should probably be made circular like The Reach since circles are more natural than squares.

the resource zones in those clusters are disc or sphere shaped, it is a limitation of the map that they get cut off at a certain distance.
they extend further than the rectangular shape - this was done for performance reasons.

Does it mean this can be fixed by scalling down the resource disc/sphere? Or maybe putting several small spheres instead one big?
It shouldn't be a problem unless someone has like 300+ mining ships there.
