I just started a new game and I built the dock for the 'experiment' mission and I can't dock with it. I removed it and rebuilt it but it still doesn't work.
The dock can be seen in game and the build screen says it's 100%, but I can fly right through it like it doesn't exist.

Obvious questions, but is your ship of suitable size to use that type of dock? Are you piloting it, or an AI pilot?

I've changed drivers and validated files to no avail.
System spec is GTX 1070 with R7 2700X and 16GB.
Since I flew through the model it is now corrupted with no landing pads. Maybe I've gone completely bonkers and I am missing somthing obvious but you can try it yourself here.
