[2.50] Build station menu scrolling stuck - Fix in a future build.

Hi,
On building station menu after building many module, i can't scroll down the list of module on the right side and i can't scroll the list of type module to build on the left side.
When i trying to scroll down with the wheel mouse, the list goes up like i touch on same time page up.
this has appears after my station finish building a module.

Without more information, we are very unlikely to be able to help. Please start by providing DXDiag and vulkaninfo reports, telling us what resolution you are running the game at, and indicating whether or not your game is modified. A savegame that demonstrates the problem would be even better.

Not sure if this is the same issue that OP is referring to, but when a station module is being deconstructed (such as being moved or deleted after being built), it goes into this countdown where I'm assuming the materials used in construction are being moved to the build storage. Every time it ticks, it resets the scroll bars on both the left and right side of the build window and makes it impossible to scroll down to see what's going on.

My stituation has evoled.
I check the construction account and i add more money (19K cr still left).
After the game run few hour, the menu works normally.
I check buy materials option in crontruction menu.
The constructeur accepte to buy all material from other with the minimum price for each item.

I get all type of weird build menu ui fragmenting and smearing after about 20 modules. Both on my desktop with a 2060 and my laptop with a 1060. Latest drivers on X4 2.5.

Some more info:

Suppose your station got attacked and several modules got destroyed (but the station is still standing, of course).

You open the build planner of the above station, not knowing that it got attacked, and you want to add in some new modules. You realize that, for each 1 second, the scrolling bars got reset to top position. Also, in the same interval, you can still move your modules in the actual planner area, but can't rotate them.

This effect persists until I assign a builder to repair/rebuild all the destroyed modules, then the effect goes away.

The additional information is great and useful but a save showing the issue would be even better for the devs.

Yes, this problem does happen. I build defence platforms on front of the Xenon gates and assign fleets of fighters to them. The station often suffers damage during construction. The damaged modules go thru a countdown where they disassemble. During that time it is impossible to scroll down to add funds or assign a builder. The only way I manage is to wait for all the damaged modules to be scrapped or command my own [very well escorted] builder to the station. It is not a major bug, but is annoying and confusing at first too, because it takes a while to work out what is going on.
Very easy to recreate. Build and be near in sector when a I or K comes thru. Defence platform turrets open up on it and the station takes damage.
p.s. it reminds me of another annoying UI behaviour. When I click on an unassigned ship I built at my HQ it triggers the list to expand and scroll up to the HQ's docked ships section. Does not sound like much, but when 100s of shisp are working for the HQ it means a lot of regular menu scrolling.

Complex/Factory Grids Building issue

Hi there! New forum poster. I believe i've found a bug that causes station/complex buildings to become unplayable for the duration of the bug/issue. Although i'm not quite sure if i should call it a bug so much as an "optimization" issue.

Whenever you delete station/complex parts, they are brought to the top of the build menu. This causes every part that you delete in the station to begin a timer tick(down) until it is deleted. This makes planning building impossible because it resets the build menu every tick(second). It also resets the UI causing the menu(s), both left and right, to reset their scroll(ie move the menu back to the beginning so you cannot use the menu).

I believe this is because the whole "plan build" function is being reset/updated every tick, causing the whole UI and grid to reset as well. Unfortunately, it makes building large complexes difficult when changing things around, even deleting a single item. I could also see it causing some people to CTD as it brings my framerate to a crawl on a NVIDIA 1080. :evil: Any fix coming anytime soon? Thanks!

Just delete any part of the station i've built in Holy Vision(or multiple parts....its very noticeable with multiple parts because more parts updating at once). The grid will reset every tick(second). My best guess is the grid(function) reloads the whole UI every time it updates the time in the UI. Literally making the UI impossible to use and grinds framerate to a halt. Very annoying bug.

No part of my complex has been disturbed other than normal use by NPCs(no part has experienced destruction either) as im friendly/neutral with all factions. Had a few lurking xenon, but nothing ever attacked my station in this save, it has been extremely peaceful for the most part. As far as i can tell its simply a bug related to deleting parts of completed stations.
