Mouse Cursor - Resolved by reset to defaults.

When loading x-4 the mouse cursor wont appear on screen. I cant use it to continue or start new game. can anyone tell me what to do to restore my mouse cursor? thanks for any help.

From the 'Known Issues with Possible Workarounds' Sticky above:

"Mouse Cursor is invisible
If your mouse cursor is invisible in the game, please check that you have disabled the options "Hide pointer while typing" and "Display pointer trails". Under Windows you find them in the Control Panel under Mouse -> Pointer Options."

I hope this helps in your case.

Sorry I tried what you said but it did not work. Does anyone have any other ideas that might work?

Right, then going a bit deeper. Have you verified your gamefiles installation?

If that doesn't help then we may need a link to an uploaded DxDiag.

I have verified my files and it still does not work. the mouse cursor is invisible in the game but works when I can find it. thank you for helping and do you have any more ideas?

After resetting my game it now works. I have my cursor working again. thanks a lot
