V2.6 Deconstructing a docking bay destroys any ships docked to it.

I wanted to rotate my dock on my HQ station so it aligns with the dock next to it, once it had completed got multple messages saying the ships that had been docked to it were destroyed. I checked on the map and there were no enemies nearby and the dock had started rebuilding its self in the new position. But my ships had gone.
Just... another... bug.

Yes, that's pretty logical if you think about it. A bit like parking your family car on the 10th floor of a multistorey carpark that's in the process of being demolished.

I do understand the shock and loss, but it is what it is (and has been that way in all previous versions).

Honestly docks that undergo deconstruction should automatically force all ships docked with it to undock and prevent any ships from docking with it.

One can think of it as the drivers having common sense and so if they are parked "on the 10th floor of a multistorey carpark that's in the process of being demolished" they make their way out automatically before it is demolished.

.. or a far more simple type of measure on ordering changes to a player dock platform - "Warning: Docked ships will be destroyed. Confirm immediate start? Y/N"

(A bit like 'Are you sure you want to reformat your hard drive? Y/N') :D
