Massive performance hit with the beta

Is anyone else experiencing a massive performance hit when running the new x4 beta?

I am using a 2080 super and after installing the beta i experience jerky graphics and when going to the map screen, i am greeted with large white squares for a few seconds before seeing the actual map.

I have dropped the graphics down to the minimum and there is still no change.

I am using windows 10 pro with a i7-9700K processor.

Verify your game installation and if the issue continues after that then please report it in the Public Beta forum. That will also require a lot more information about your game and system such as game version, mod state, DxDiag and Vulkaninfo (which should have been here too).
