I switched my Game Language from German to English and this happened:

For various reasons, certain text (especially that in things like objectives, which have to be completed with the details for the current mission) has to be stored in the savegame in its "final" form. That means that when you change languages, it stays in the language it was added in. This is unavoidable and expected when you switch languages mid-game.

I would say thats very bad coding then^^. UI Changes, String changes, should never mess with coding.
So if the Questline ends it goes back to English Text?
or do i have to swich back to German and back to English again?
Maybe turn it off and on again helps

As CBJ said ".. things like objectives, which have to be completed with the details for the *current* mission .." Once that objective-related mission or guidance task is completed then the next instance of that particular text would be in the language selected for the game. You don't really have to do anything about it except carry on for a bit and complete the relevant task. The issue only happens when you change game language mid-task and is temporary until you finish the task.
Nothing messes with the game-coding, it is just how the details of missions and tasks in progress are stored.

Or in other words - the data became user content. At this point the application localization system doesn't matter anymore [which exists, so no "bad coding" here].
