[#1724][6.20] The freighter ship emergency(pirate) docking goes to the farther station

Hello.

In this post, I will talk about a Hermes Vanguard, in Eighteen Billion, which ID has CAI-501.

The ship is a trader of the my refined metal refinery, which has ID of BEY-450.

The pirate has ID of KYK-450.

It seems somewhat strange that the CAI-501 tried to dock at SSB-770, rather than DBN-650.

The ship is threaten by pirates, and then I instructed to the ship 'Run away from the pirate'.

The ship seemed to dock rather than just flying over. That's okay for a decision anyway.

However, after the situation, I revealed that DBN-650(13km) is more near than the SSB-770(39km), which is from the Yasur position.

The freighters are generally slow, so just running more kilometers with no any good points is seemed unreasonable.

Save 1: The freighter commenced to run away from the enemy. The final result will be 'CAI-501 will dock to SSB-770'.

Save 2: A Yasur is near the position which the freighter was instructed to run away from the pirate.

1) The ship commed to me 'I'm being threatened by the pirate'.

2) I instructed to the ship to 'Run away from the pirate'.

3) The ship commenced to run away from the pirate.

4) The ship docked at SSB-770, and the station is 3x farther than DBN-650.

Why it should be a problem,

1) The pirate will stop chasing if the ship docked successfully anywhere.

2) We cannot get any ship's information about where to dock, so assuming the ship should dock at the nearest station
seems a reasonable thought.

A developer has responded to your issue:
"They sort stations by distance but pick the first one they get immediate docking permission with."

It might not be a bug, but I still think it's worth looking at, so the issue has been confirmed and the Devs are aware.
