[#1874][6.20] Terran L mining turret has wrong effects

Fly near one of the mineable asteroids just up ahead, then go external view and observe the L mining turret. While it fires a beam laser, the sound effect (and perhaps the muzzle flash?) seem like they belong to a pulse laser or something similar. There's no continuous beam sound like you would expect.
