I'd like to see a couple more smaller L-sized ships. I'd like to see the cargo containers stripped off the Veles and turn it into a system patrol craft. In general, I'd like to see a lot more L-sized cargo ships, especially small-fast ones.

Hi,
I was directed to this thread from the VRO thread by Shuulo regarding an issue I've encountered. VRO uses your Titan model - excellent work by the way - and I've noticed that ships struggle to dock with it In-Sector. In fact, I've never had one of my ships be able to dock with it, unless I leave the sector beforehand.
Basically, when ships try to dock at the Titan, they approach from the rear of the ship, rather from one side or the other. As such their approach is blocked and they never dock. Once docked - i.e. when I've left the sector and returned - they can undock just fine and fly directly out of the bay. Is this something you can possibly look into?

Weapon connections in component files should be updated to allow tags of VRo light and heavy guns, "lgun" and "hgun" respectively, it can be either of them or both, depending how much firepower is required. I suggest to not have all-heavy guns if there are more than 4 of them on ship. It has no impact on vanilla, it will just allow to fit VRO weapons.
e.g. teladi buzzard weapons, note lgun, hgun tags:Code: Select all

Personally I'd like to see more video tutorials on blender, and ship creating. That said more capital ships would be awesome.

Do the stats on these ships scale with VRO?

Scale? No. Some work with VRO or have a compatibility patch. Some are even included in VRO afaik. but on the VRO wiki is an explanation what you have to do to make the ship work so you can do that yourself.

Satyr is awesome, love it!
I found 4 issues so far.
1. Crew is too high, compared to other ships
2. The layer logo on the left is mirrored
3. Color problems at the front. Try Terran paint mods, and the red parts are purple
4. Cockpit is colored outside (maybe on purpose?)

Also the name "Satyr" seems "hardcoded" instad of the ships code

I tuned down the crew a bit to be more in line with vanilla ships but at 48 its still a good portion above average
it seems like i cant flip the logo.. we gotta live with this one ^^ but i also would never have noticed that.
yea the color thing on the front was a left over from testing colouring the hull and simultaniously having it as paint mod area. fixed that.

not exactly. the middle section is a mix of something i made myself and the split scout. the "wings" are from the chimera but longer. i plan to make it more unique with time but for now the chimera rip off has to do

So you can say teh Wolf is a bigger version of teh chimera.
