[REQ] AI command mods

Is it possible to mod the AI in X4?

Is something like "Attack this station but stay X km away" possible? That would allow AI-piloted destroyers to attack stations without flying right next to them and dying.

Is something like "Go here and don't stop to engage anyone" possible?

There are a lot of possibilities to address shortcomings of the available AI commands, assuming it is possible.

It would be awesome the possibility to command them "stay at weapons max range". That way if you equip them with torpedoes they will just stay 12km away. Maybe for balance the mod can reduce accuracy.

XML code-wise that should be possible. However, the catch is that you need to implement the corresponding commands into the UI and that is a nightmare. :-(

That's too bad. More command/AI options would take X4 to a whole other level.
