Is there any way to get the the blueprints for ship production modules? If so, how?

Re: Player shipyard
My understanding is that Player shipyards didnt make it into release, but they are still coming, however the timeline for them appearing is i believe currently unknown.

Re: Player shipyard
Turns out you need to get to max rep with a faction to get their wharf, shipyard and equipment dock blueprints.

Re: Player shipyard
The game does give you the blueprints but the blueprints for buildmodules are tagged as noplayerblueprint so they are instantly removed. I suppose they have plans to properly implement player shipyards but as with most of the game, the feature is disabled for now.
I am working on a mod to restore player shipyards.

It works, I just have to figure up how to setup what the trader sells: viewtopic.php?f=181&t=403612&p=4762909#p4762909
Re: Player shipyard
I think that we shloud wait for proper solution from Egosoft. They disabled it for some reason.

Re: Player shipyard
The current system of buying and upgrading ships gives a player shipyard... potential. Imagine the possibility to change what upgrades fit into a ship- or even import own ship models from gmax or others. I think the game can still read bobs and bods, so the old converters could be used to export a ship from the program- and the game can import it. But changing the stats for a existing ship should be no problem- also combining it with different modules. Still a problem would be to actually sell ships to others. I hope they will do something with that- would make the feeling of a shipyard complete...
Re: Player shipyard
Hope we'll get it with an upcoming patch.
Real sweet would be if we could build something otherwise unavailable. A unique ship type, or just some variant. Doesn't have to be better or unbalanced mind you, could do with worse, as long as its different

Re: Player shipyard
Yeah, egosoft should just use this code and add it to official
Don't want to mod my game yet until I've seen what they plan with those ventures :/
Anyway good chance its comming with 2.0.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2hRC4pBl7qM
just hope we get *some* custom ships too, that aren't available elsewhere
