Hire a station manager with 1 star or more

How the heck do you find a station manager to hire that has 1 star or more??? Nowhere to be found and I've searched 40+ bases.

I think I figured it out.

Land on a random large ship and one of the crew wandering around will most likely have 1 or more stars in management. (Found one with 3 stars on the first ship I landed on). Hired him as a crew member for my ship. Fly him/her back to your base, fire your current base manager (if you have one). Open up a comm with your new crew member with the management skills and tell him to work somewhere else and choose your base and manager position. Done!

yep thats correct. Captital ships have trained personal. i have not yet discovered if it follows a certain rule (pilot ranking on battleships, etc).

I found a 2 Star Manager and a 4 Star Pilot on these Ships. Still a far cry out from the mission requirements for the Manager/Pilot needed missions and since training/exp gain isnt working we need to wait for a patch for this.

Do not worry, from version 1.30 you can't steal NPC crew anymore.
But as balance they fixed how fast your employees progressing. So start with manager with 0 star and after some time he become 5 stars Steve Jobs
