Scientific Anomaly mission

I have read quite a few posts on an earlier thread but they all seem to speak of a bug.

I completed everything until the anomaly and since I was even noobier than I am now, I think I went through it and then...nothing.

I have no quest tracker and did go back to where I left a nav beacon and nothing. I cant even abandon and restart the mission now.

Any fixes on this ?

Oh, a helping hand directed me to Grand exchange 1 and showed me where it ought to be, yet ive run around scanning the area and still nothing
