Cannot remember where else i´ve read that, but apparently if you scan them some of them will give you a blue ping, though it seems in some white pings there are also lootable areas inside. you´ll have to go on your spacesuit to find it.

I just did the one in Nopileos Fortune II last night, like 10 minutes of shooting screens for a couple loot boxes.
