Weird ship in The Reach

Just got a purple ping and went to take a looksee. Found a strange ship appearing and disappearing, a bit like a star trek ship cloaking/decloaking. Can't target it and it pushes me away if I get near. Anyone know what it is?

It is not a ship, but a space anomaly.
You can go through it by using boost, this will jump you to a random sector.
Right on commander !
