Mines in Silent Witness XII
Is it normal that all the mines in Silent Witness XII treat me as a friendly and bounce off my ship, rather than to explode?

I believe they belong to the sector owner, so they are initially neutral, and yours if you claim the sector I.e they turn green

And i was worried about my future plan of Launching a rage SCA´s station destruction on that sector...

That seems... a little broken.... Especially for xenon sectors...

Key Distinction. Mines as defined by the sector re-spawn. cannot be cleaned out, and are subject to the owner of the sector. EG: SW XII and the ones in faulty logic.
Silent Witness mines are Friend/Foe Mines which will avoid being near friends and attack foes. they still detonate on collision.
However, Faulty Logic Mines are Tracker mines, unlike Friend Foe Mines, even if you are the owner, friend, enemy, vegetable, they will move at anything that's not another mine and detonate.

It would be nice if:
- you could sweep the mines
- it would be worth doing so
eg to gain access to resources that would otherwise be unobtainable

That would be nice. I tried to sweep them by putting turrets to missle defense on that Paranid Destroyer you can pick up for free in a Xenon sector, and promptly died because they didn't shoot the mines...

Having Missions that require you to mine sweep would be nice. Not the shoot a small number of mines, but during the war, you get to clear the sheer amount of mines.

Turrets don't target mines. got to manually target them

Also the mines in those sectors regenerate, they're like ore and gas. You can't just get rid of them.
