Going Ofensive stuck awaiting docking freighter

Going Offensive.

I planted spacesuit bombs and saddled - (teleport to phq).
I got told to leave detonation to Dal Busta's team.
Then I get a never-ending cut screen - ok I stop it eventually with escape.
Now the mission is frozen on "5: Await Docking freighter". Nothing else for me to do?

So can I rescue this?

Yup, I have the same problem, waiting and waiting for Pelican to dock..
Here's my save.

The captain is a 2* pilot and having 6 cargo drones, 0 active..

I got SETA just before this quest. It can take a pretty long time for the freighter to actually maneuver around and dock.

Couldn't reproduce this one. I loaded the savegame, exit the ship and placed 2 bombs, and it continues ( capship arrived, docked, cutscene and Dal talks after the cutscene about the next objective).

I managed to get past the docking freighter blockage

If I leave the system for the explosion, we get the bug, and the mission does not progress.

If I stay in system, a few kilimeters away from the station, the mission progress as expected. The cut-screen finishes with the explosion. In the game, the freighter does not dock and appears undamaged, but my bombs have gone.

I was in combat and missed my instructions - and the briefing says F all about it - so I don't know where to plant the bombs.

I've tried planting bombs on the freighter as it comes to dock, but I'm told I missed the window as soon as the drones appear. Ive tried bombing the **** itself, to the same end.

Where does the bomb go, and how many was I supposed to plant?

Faced the same problem in the quest "Going Ofensive". Game version 3.10 (394166).

If you skip the movie with a freighter explosion, the quest is buggy. Constantly hangs the task of "Awaiting docking freighter" and nothing else happens.

Found an alternative solution - to destroy this freighter myself, then the quest continues.

Why you can’t add a button "Restart quest". It would solve a lot of problems with bugs in quest scripts.

I had to find my account info just to reply to this. Destroying the freighter works to progress the quest.

However, the freighter pilot bailed during the attack, so I claimed the freighter. Sold it to Argon Wharf for $5 million. Argon didn't like the station, so the freighter immediately opened fire on the station, which resulted in the freighter being destroyed.

So I get $5 million credits, and the freighter is taken care of.

Thought it was kinda funny, so I wanted to share.
