Posting after thinking that discovering this a few hundred hours ago would have been quite nice.
I was finding that setting the response to police interdiction to ‘comply’ was causing ships to pause movement, then wait for an hour for an override instruction.
Setting your response to police interdiction to 'Wait', enables your ship to move on with its previous orders after a minute, still enabling you to change the response if you want, but avoiding an unnecessary delay while the ship wIts for input on an event that has already happened..

You had been using Comply and restoring motion after...
But decided to use wait - (this presumably is better) and I am
guessing that it simply waits a minute and then carries on rather
than waiting forever.
Would I be correct in this assumption.
