Erlking boarding mission - Explained.

Hi all,
So I started on the Avarice content yesterday and found the Erlking in its normal spot.
I loaded up two Shiaku transports with marines and moved them into the area adjacent to the Erlking.
I performed the normal boarding process as I've seen in various videos, however once I do this, I get a mission to destroy four turrets on the station where Erlking is and the transports do not move to the target they just wander off.
Is this a change to stop people cheesing the Erlking or should I still be able to board the Erlking passivley?

You should have set the two boarding difficulty/risk levels each to 'very strong' before issuing the board order. That way you you don't have to destroy any turrets and the target hull can be at 100%. The result of those settings is that boarding has added risk of losses and will take a very long time to complete, but your boarding pods will launch and you will enter the hull eventually.

Thanks Rainer.
I was OOS which was what was frustrating me to much.
In the end I had set the boarding to 'very weak' and 'very strong' instead of 'very strong' and 'very strong'.
Hopefully this helps someone else in the same spot.
I now have nice shiny erlking to drive around space.

You can use the Erlking for speedy mass cargo hauling since it has a okay speed with XL engines and its massive cargo, after you get the vault bps and build a EQ/yard to refit then you can make stuff go boom, and hustle cargo when you dont need it for combat
