Too many turns with asteroids for the turbo booster to be useful.

Yeah, top speed is definitely not a big factor. I find that if I don't upgrade the steering it's a whole lot harder, and it just occurred to me to wonder if the ship has a boost extension or not. If it doesn't that could help a little.

I'm thinking less of the top speed, and more of that tremendous linear acceleration. Turn, boost, brake, repeat.
