Wooop.. I just bagged me an LX. Took quite a few tries but one eventually bailed on me with 80% hull and 3 HEPTS still on board I left it well enough alone once it turned blue until the Teladi Fleet in 347 had killed off all the P's and Q's . Then I took out a gaggle on M's that were buzzing around me, hopped out, hotwired the LX and then used the transporter beam to drop in my Jumpdrive and eCells.

Now my stock Notus Hauler is docked at the military outpost in 18 Billion and I'm happily moving all my gear over to my new prize. This LX is getting overtuned as soon as I can find some crates!

They are 105% to 133% of sector size out from the sector center, in pirate sectors. Axis doesn't seem to matter. There are 8 crates total, each with 2-5 either rudder or engine tunings. There is a 1/256 chance your game has no engine tunings.
