Krait

Does the fact that the Krait is listed as able to carry st containers mean it's supposed to be able to be used like a TL and buy and place stations? If so, it's not working for me. I can't place stations or even complex connectors into a krait but can but them in the TL I've hired. If they aren't meant to haul stations is there some other ware that is in st containers? Either way, love the mod. I combine ddrs with the cockpit mod, works great for most ships and doesn't seem to 'cause problems.

M1/2's can carry ST containers.

BUT, unless the ship's class is TL, it CANNOT deploy stations. This is a hardcoded limitation.

Thanks for the info. I forgot that M1/2s carry st containers as well. I still love the krait as it's got really good speed for how much it can carry and is pretty well defended with all it's turrets and main guns. Now I jus' have to unlock them from the astroid base or get PHQ and reverse engineer the one I found before I lose it. :)

Thanks for making this great mod.Please keep adding more updates to it.I have had a lot of fun with this mod and thank it's one of the best thats been made for X3. :)

I'd like to ask if you could add 2 or 3 new custom ships.

1.) the ship that Sohnen ship (Argon/Goner) that persues julian in the campaign (M3)

2.) the Delta Flyer (Argon) from Star Trek (M3+ or M3/TS with the same - forward/aft - turrets like the Argon M3+)

3.) the Bluestar Scout ship from Babylon 5 (Boron M3+) - because they are the only ones from the races that dont have one. (the link to the B5 site for infos is: www.b5tech.com/isa/bluestar/bluestar.html )

If those could be included, that would be pretty cool.

Any word on the TIE interceptor bug? I remember it being around a while back and I came back to the game recently to try 2.5 but it seems to be still around.

IT appears to still be around because whenever the TIE interceptor is a 'reward', it seems like the game doesn't spawn it correctly and auto fails regardless of the mission type.

I wouldn't count on much response from DD or RS, let alone any updates anytime soon.

Unless one of them, or both, take an interest in X3 again, it'll be a long time in coming for an update.

Yea, that's understandable.

I think I'll just mess with the script editor and force it to 'reward' me the ship so it doesn't offer the mission anymore.

The mod allows you to use new or existing games. Though it might be better to start over to get the full effect of the new maps.

Now if you start over, and one of the custome starts, you won't get the Bala Gi missions from what I've heard.

As far as I know, the Tie Interceptor bug was swatted with the last release, and in regards to future releases, they are coming, but real life has a way of getting in the way.

Hi,

This sounds like a good mod, and I have played it once before x number of versions ago, anyway, What I would like to know is:

I'm using XTM and quite content to continue doing so for the time being, is it possible to release a 'ship pack' that only has the ships in it? 'cause I really don't want to start a new game.

I've been away from the x universe for a long time. I used to help betatest this mod when I was active. All i've seen since my return is XTM.

Well I loaded it gave it a try and found i was still wanting something else. So i returned to my old stomping ground and was glad to find the mod still active and available for download.

I am sad that both DD&RS are no longer keen on developing this and like me have drifted away from the x universe. However now that i've rekindled my interest I will be playing with this mod once again. Setting up shop at Unknown sector 8,8 and building my empire.

So i'd just like to say thanks to all the team who helped make this mod so unique and a huge thanks to DD&RS. As without there skills x3's shelf life would have been measured in weeks.....

Could you break down the process of how to do the above.

I've never done this before and I haven't downloaded DDRS yet.

Also if I managed to install any these Ships could they be easily uninstalled without upsetting my X3/XTM installation?

Just had the most remarkable battle in Black Hole Sun. 2 Xenon P's and there escorts were attacking a station when i jumped in with my B-wing and 4 x-wing squad.

It was not a long fight :) with a couple of lesser m's as caps. However I noticed several Yaki ships were heading for the south gate so i went to inspect. It was a fab view 5 tie fighters in x formation just minding there own business :twisted:

I just sent the 4 x-wings in and stood back and bathed in nostalgia. Gota love being a Star Wars fan and having this mod :)

All,

Some of you may have noticed that the DDRS Forums and the X-Wiki are off line. When you try and access either of them, you will see:
This account has been suspended. Either the domain has been overused, or the reseller ran out of resources.
Actually there is no problem with the account or domain, it was just that my son (who manages of the site) needed to shut things down quickly, and deactivating those accounts was the quickest way.

Apparently while I was away on business last week, some low-life hacked both X3 sites I am hosting...the results were quite nasty, and created an active threat to some of the other sites we host.

The good news is that I had already started on a refresh of both sites, using the latest versions of the many software packaged that I'm running. I have current backups, so the data should be intact.

Of course the recovery and re-launch of the sites is now my top "spare time" priority, and I'll post back here once the sites are back on line.

Your patience is appreciated.

The "bad news" is that this will delay the DDRS "Consolidation" release I had been tinkering with...sigh :cry:

The mod is quite nice.. I really like the new ship models.
Although i dont know what should i do to start those missions.
I didnt find any guide with the mod that explains what to do.
Maybe a walkthrough?
