The new XFP mod is under testing and improvement, new ships and some other addons are being placed and tested.

With the move the work got very messi but, we are working on it even now, so all XFP fans can enjoy it without problems

At the moment there is no download due to the mod going through testing, once we are happy that it is relatively bug free then a new download will become available.

The old XFP forum was closed due to server problems, all XFP posts have been saved for anyone who wishes to browse the old boards and can be got to through the ink Ketraar has supplied.

To all the XFP fans, we know you have had a long wait for the return of the XFP mod, it will return, we just need you to be a bit more patient yet.

can someone anyone tell me where to get xfp 4.2 as the new version looks to have going in a direction i dont want, if this is no longer avalible cantsomeone please post it for me or provide a valid link as xfp do not have old versions posted?

i just read that they are removing ships etc.. thats all and adding new ones etc... personaly im a fan of the kicthen sink approch and will be adding every thing i can get into one big game. the more the better type of thing but ive been away for a while and only have a none bali g version so wish to get hold of the most content possible version thats all

i've recently installed xfp 4.2 and i think it's wonderful. i tried to get the script patch/ship fix mentioned on page 1 but the link does not work. Does anyone know where i can get it?

almost 2 months later and is there any news? when i go to the website in the first post in this thread, the X3 mod there is called "northstars" and has just over 30 new sectors not 100 so where can i download the new XFP? surely its still not in testing...

Sorry guys, the XFP mod is being fully rebuilted, so that you don't have to play with annoying bugs all the time.

Work is progressing well but, in the forum, everybody helps the next one so, things tend to take a bit longer

Sorry krytonic, at the moment i am finding it hard to dedicate much time to finish the rebuild.

Too much real life work to do.

There have been a few betas produced and at the moment i am still re-adding the ships, and squashing the bugs as they are found.
