Trade rank doesn't match
Hello,
i've found a bug/error in the script-files. the trade rank doesn't match the trade rank of the game. and on the lcd display the numbers in percent are also not correct. is it possible to correct it for the next update of this excellent addon??
greetings
Jens

Hi Cycrow, about that Rank issue again:
Which page id do your script use for display the (trade) rank:
this one
or the older one, which remains from X2 but never was used in X3
I am reffering to the original t file named 490001.xml DE / 440001.xml EN
The complete rank system was slightly changed / expaneded form X2 to X3, but the old ranks weren't cut off the master t file (as so many other old relics from X2 and maybe XT you can find in this file hehe
Just an idea ...
EDIT:
OK, júst found out that it has nothing to do with referencing to the wrong name list in text file. (I'm now using a replacer for the rank system and the altered rank names are shown up in the LCD field of the G15. They use the 300020 id.

Cycrow's G15 applet
Hello,
I recently got a G15 red and wanted Cycrows Applet for the screen, however all the links I can find are dead even cycrows website itself, could someone who has it upload/e-mail it to me?
address in spoiler
replace (at) and (dot) with the correct characters.
Thanks in advance
Fred

Okay, it would appear that this plugin does not play well with the new Logitech 2.02 drivers.
After reinstalling X3, I could not get the applet to work. I have never had any problems in the past. The only change from my last X3 install was the new Logitech drivers.
So, on a whim, I uninstalled the 2.02 drivers and reinstalled my old 1.04 drivers.
Worked like a charm.

ive just got a G15 and downloaded the most recent drivers, and ive had no problems with the plugin at all...
have you installed the scripts correctly (i noticed that they were in the old .spk format, which didnt install correctly)
try using the spk convert tool (found in the folder of the plugin manager) to convert the script files to the newer version (the instructions are on cycrows plugin manager website)

Didn't know about that. Will have to try that option.
As for installing the scripts correctly, I thought I did. After downgrading the Logitech drivers, I went through the same process and it worked. So I would assume I did it correctly. But then, we all know where assumptions get us.
I will upgrade and try the new process tomorrow just for the halibut. Though I honestly prefer the older 1.04 layout over the 2.02 one.

Hi All
I have encountered similar problem. I started with 2.00.2 drivers from logitech but it did not work. So after your suggestions I use 2.000 and converted by SPKconvert script (converted successfully). It seams configured properly (paths) but I still see annoying message on LCD: "X3 Reunion No Game Found"
Any ideas on that ?
regards, KompoT

if you getting that message, then the LCD part is actually working, its the communication with the game thats not.kompotex wrote:Hi All

first thing to do is check the scripts are installed, and are enabled in the AL Plugins Menu.
if they are and you still get the problem, it should be a problem with Vista, apparently some settings in vista prevent 2 programs from reading the same file. afaik, what happens, is vista creates a copy of the file for the other program to load.
which means the LCD never gets the data from the game because Vista Blocks it for security.
the same problem was found in my GUI which uses a simlar method of communication.
you could try reading through that thread to find the solution, i think it was posted in the last few pages
Hi...
I can't get Script Manager to work! Last night I did try this with my G15 and offcorse I only get Game not found to LCD because Script Manager tilts every time when I try to use it.
http://www.xpluginmanager.co.uk don't work?
(Behind X3 was AutoGK changing one Monk part to Xvid avi so playing was... Slow, only test driving new 2.5 update and G15 information)

i have other mirrors available as well you can get to from the main post for the plugin manager.
the ntlworld site is basically my ISP's web hosting, the xpluginmanager is a seperate hosting but has a limited bandwidth which im trying to sort out
