You want to destroy the Syndicate Shipyard??? You do know that you can buy all those nice, nasty pirate ships from there, don't you? And the higher your combat rank, the more ships they offer, all they way up to the awesome Galleon. :D

And yes, you'll suffer significant race rep drop for destroying a station claimed by them. :twisted:

Sorry for sticking it in the wrong place.


Hrmmm, if I'm going to lose race rep for blowing up those stations, then its going to be a real pain getting rid of the pirates. And yeah I know what those stations sell, but Id rather not have any dealings with the pirates, regardless how good their ships are.

XTM and Bala Gi Missions

Well I'm finding this impossible. Got to tow the yacht but maelstrom has atound 79 pirate ships M2s x 6 for example. Is it impossible or am I doing something wrong here??

I've finally found some time to try out the mod. Looks good.

A few questions:

1. Has anyone tested compatability with the guilds scripts by cycrow yet?
2. I also don't see CMP on the list.
3. Can you point me in the direction of where to look for the new plot as I haven't found it yet?
4. I initially started a new game but if I dig out a save for a plain vanilla game just after the plot is completed will it work with XTM?

1 there's a script compatability list on TheXUniverse.com
2 CMP? or EMP? EMP is included
3 Start by looking a teladi station BBS messages
4 Apparently yes, but you don't get the new sectors (& all ships?),
ie restart required, but some of custom starts are quite 'compensatory'

2. Oops, yes EMP. I already had it installed but I didn't get any complaints so I guess it is OK anyway.

well. i hope the new version got some changes


1.remove somen waste taxi and civilian ship,

increase fps

2. make a custom install patch,

so we can install as weneeded, u c, i just unpack the 0.2 patch since it can't be installed ....

So fart I have only found 2-3

1. Boron Angel
2. OTAS transporter
3. Treasure Hunt (if this can really be called an easter egg)

Hi i have just bought my nice new shinny ollerus. Iam having a bit of troublr using the jumgate thing how do you use it?

You need two of them. One in each sector you want to connect. Then you have to use a special command (I think it's something like "Deploy Jumpgate") and then you have to select the other Ollerus.

I have another question: Does anyone know the power of otis shields? All i know is that pirate novas fitted with them can take a massive pounding, and my custodian uses them and is nearly invincible. It can absorb a HUGE amount of punishment and recharge.

I tryed using this in the new XTM mod but most of the comands don't work. Like placing ships. Some of the commands do work like taking money away from you. Am I doing somthing wrong?

I have yet to try them, but you could try highlighting a ship fitted with them in the sector map. The top bar of the map then gives you the numerical value of hull, laser energy and shields. Doesn't tell you the recharge though.
