Those of us of a certain age will remember Terrance Dicks' Dr. Who novels. Alas, the man himself has passed:

UK democracy?
+1

And what's really galling is those murdering it are claiming they're trying to save it while, with hands clamped firmly around its neck, they squeeze & squeeze.
“Man, my poor head is battered,” Ed said.

“That explains its unusual shape,” Styanar said, grinning openly now. “Although it does little to illuminate just why your jowls are so flaccid or why you have quite so many chins.”

“I…” Had she just called him fat? “I am just a different species, that’s all.”

“Well nature sure does have a sense of humour then,” Styanar said. “Shall we go inside? It’d not be a good idea for me to be spotted by others.”

Wow, he played Mr. House in Fallout: NV--never knew that! And his Odo was fantastic, that goes without saying. RIP.

I remember him from those botany programmes in the 70s/80s, more childhood gone.

The guy was an absolute legend for children born in a certain era. His enthusiasm and ability to not just convey it, but impart it to the listener - grabbing their interest and holding them on the subject - was brilliant. How many other kids would watch programs with interest about plants and creepy crawlies? Just a shame he wasn't on our screens for the past 20 odd years :(

I'm sure I remember the *real* David Bellamy actually coming on when Lenny Henry was doing that impression, similarly to how they did with Trevor McDonald in that video.
