I ha just watched episode one of the Mandalorian https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOC8E8z_ifw the show is most impressive and it is going to be good
Spoiler
Show
and yoda at the end as a baby

Episode had some quirky content. It wasn't super but it definitely wasn't bad. The show has dark lighting or something. Episode 2 will be released on Nov 15, 2019.

Started the Neflix TV series Dark and like it. So if you're up for some unusual time-travelling adventure with some twists then this may be something for you.

Watched the first episode last night, I'm not sure about it either. I'm not sure why they have to 'reimagine' everything. I thought it was going to be the same story from a different perspective, but they seem to be changing story elements.

Just watched Klaus (Trailer | Don't watch) on Netflix.
Beautiful hand drawn christmas movie with a very original, refreshing and heartwarming story about how the legend of Santa Claus was created. I usually dislike warmed up christmas movies but this one turned out amazing.

The movie got 90% and 98% on rotten tomatos.

"Living with yourself" on Netfilx.

Guy goes to a spa, recommended by a suddenly successful colleague, only to discover they're cloning people! It goes a bit wrong, he wakes up, now there's two of him. Hilarity ensues.

Well written, funny as hell so far (ep.4).

Finished series 4 of The Last Ship. It's enjoyable, if a little on the cheesy side occasionally. Though to be annoying, Amazon haven't included series 5 on Prime - has to be paid for separately.

Basic plot summary: A US warship on mission in the Artic, under radio silence, discovers that while it was away the world has been stricken by a viral pandemic. 'tis fun.

I've watched this series and enjoyed it. As a US Navy vet, I did particularly enjoy the attention to detail about shipboard life, the technologies used on the DDG, etc. However, outside of boot camp, in my 6 years of service, I never encountered any sailor that's as Joe Navy as these actors portray. That was a bit over the top, but not enough to turn me away from the show.

So... Series 4 of The Expanse just went live. Happy me, in spite of the election misery!

Let me say this quietly:
Opted in to Prime Video (only option here) and binged all 10 Episodes in one go. :o
7 glorious hours of procrastination... but it was great, it trully puts all other SciFi stuff out there to shame.

MFG

PS.: Purposely ignoring any SW comments until tomorrow night when I'll go see it.

6 Underground on Netflix

This is the worst.
Michael Bay was always producing trash movies but this.. just.. wow.

This, so much! It was like a rip off of "The Italian Job" and "Oceans 11" in one go without any substance (not that either of those were particularly great to begin with).

Yeah, just watched Ep 1 and it shows promise - some of the fight scenes were pretty good, some of the acting was pretty average. I've not read the books (and have only played a small amount of the third game) so I have no canonical viewpoint.

The trailer was enough for me to pass on this.
